The hotel is set in a small beautiful bourgeois palace dating from 1880 and has preserved original features such as the classical façade, the structure around a typical Andalusian central patio and an elegant marble staircase.
“Sevilla has a long and rich history and the city’s architecture is a reflection of that past. With a reputation for integrating the old and new, the best architects for the project were chosen: the prestigious firm of Cruz y Ortiz Arquitectos” says Pedro Molina, owner. “The property, Casa Palacio Castelar, has been chosen because of its prime location in the city and the possibility to create a beautiful small luxury hotel from the existing building”. The result is a beautiful building bathed in natural light, sober and harmonic lines.

The Mercer Sevilla has 12 exclusive beautiful rooms spread over 2 floors. The rooms located in the Casa Palacio Castelar old noble floor have maintained the 4.5m ceiling height. All the rooms have elegant oak floors, exclusive furniture and infinite details for the absolute comfort of our guests.
The new hotel also has a delightful rooftop terrace, with swimming pool, solarium and bar service, overlooking the rooftops of El Arenal, one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Seville.
